Tammy Krings

Tammy Krings’ bio reads as an inspiration to women business owners everywhere. Twenty-seven years’ ago, Tammy started a travel consulting firm in an 800 square foot office with just two employees. Currently, the ATG global network operates in 140+ countries and represents more than 7 billion in travel spend.

Prior to her career in travel, Tammy was an industrial engineer and worked on the B-1 bomber, missile & rocket systems and the space shuttle for Rockwell International. The same engineering principles used in quality management and process engineering have made her travel management company a success. Following the Value Chain, Mapping the Process and Continuous Improvement are all engineering techniques she has applied to ATG’s operations which has earned it the status as the only ISO Certificated travel management company in the USA.

Tammy served as the Chair of the New Albany East Community Authority, which was preceded by a three-year term as Chair of the New Albany Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees.

She continues to serve on a number of corporate and advisory boards including the Human & Economic Recovery Advisory Committee for the State of Ohio. She is a founding member of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) based in D.C. and is an active member of GBTA.
