Peter Ashworth

In the position of Managing Director of Europe, Peter is responsible for the design, alignment and implementation of ATG’s regional and functional strategies as well as continuous optimization of structures, technologies and processes. Peter will oversee ATG’s European team, in coordination with all other departments, supporting the success of ATG in the European region.

Peter holds over 30 years’ experience in business travel and has gained a full understanding of the entire business travel ecosystem and client cycles. From Reservations to Reporting, from Commercial to Operations, as well as the systems that support, automate and benefit travellers, clients and employees.

Previously, Peter was with a global travel management company for nearly twenty years, beginning as their Netherlands branch manager, then expanding to operational development over the Benelux region and northern Europe. After moving to Paris, Peter rose to the position of Vice President Traveler Services EMEA, being responsible for operations in all aspects within the EMEA region. From there, he moved to Germany taking the position of Senior Vice President Central & Eastern Europe.

His most recent position was Managing Director at Acomodeo, a global marketplace for serviced apartments based in Frankfurt. Peter is a Dutch national with South African roots, fluent in Dutch, English and German with a knowledge of French, given his time in Paris.
